Suggest to someone that they need a larger dress size?

My daughter (18) has gained a little weight and she is squeezing into her clothes.

I have no place to offer to buy new ones, do I?

I wouldn't say anything about size. Would just say do you fancy a girls shopping trip when restrictions are eased?
