Nosebleed now spitting blood

Sorry - posting here for traffic. Was reading in bed when my nose starting bleeding - no coughing or nose picking led to this :D

Very unusual for me to have a nosebleed, I got up and came downstairs. Ten minutes later I feel something funny in my throat/ mouth and spit out what appears to be blob of congealed blood, or a clot of some sort.

Should I be concerned?

Assuming your nose has now stopped bleeding, no - blood often runs down your throat when you have a nosebleed and clots there. That’s what you have coughed up.

It's almost stopped, yes. Thanks, I just panicked a bit!
