It's my dd's birthday soon (15). We'll still be in lockdown. She's very sociable and misses her friends, but she is also very sensible and has been amazing through lockdown. So focused, so disciplined, so positive.
I want to make her birthday special but need ideas. I'll make a chocolate cake (her favourite) and she'll Skype with family/friends, but what else can we do?
I'm planning to take the day off work so will have time. Just not sure what to do with it. Thinking about a picnic if the weather is good. Any and all suggestions welcome!
I'm really stuck for present ideas this year. She is very into health and fitness but our space is very limited. Any ideas? She likes anything to do with self care, positive living etc. She has also done lots of baking in lockdown. Unfortunately, none of her normal hobbies are possible right now, so there is no point in giving her stuff that relates to them. Ditto for clothes vouchers etc as she has plenty of money at the moment due to not going out anywhere!
My mental health has been a little bit fragile in recent months, and she has been so supportive and encouraging, pushing me to exercise and stay in a healthy routine. I really want to make a big fuss of her this year, but need some inspiration!
