Bought one for lockdown and I love it. But the milk gets burned on the bottom and sticks. No one else I know with one has this issue. How do I get it off without damaging the non stick coating?

That sounds like a fault. Ours doesn't get hot enough to burn the milk. I'd contact Nespresso.

I don't have that problem either.

I do find that long life milk froths so much better than fresh milk. Just as an aside

Neeks888 · 16/05/2020 12:14

Sounds odd. This only happens if I add hot chocolate powder to make a lazy hot chocolate

LuckyMarmiteLover · 16/05/2020 12:16

I had 2 and it happened to both of them. Have bought a different make now.

ExpletiveDelighted · 16/05/2020 12:18

Yes, that started happening with ours after a while, we got rid in the end. We have a Hotel Chocolat frother now which is better.

MIL gave us a nespresso with one of these for Christmas, it went straight in the cupboard never come out. What should I be doing with it?

Violetroselily · 16/05/2020 12:57

Mine has never had that problem, sounds like a fault

isthismylifenow · 16/05/2020 13:22

Froth milk and make lattes etc

dazzlingdeborahrose · 16/05/2020 13:35

We've got two. Never had this problem. Get in touch with nespresso.

Lucked · 16/05/2020 13:36

I got one for my mum and was worried that it would be a piece of kitchen junk but she loves it. No problem with burnt milk.

Toddlerteaplease · 22/05/2020 14:22

I spoke to Nesspresso yesterday and a new one has arrived today. Brilliant customer service. The milk seems much hotter and just wiped off.

We have had two over about five years and I have noticed that after a few months, a residue seems to build up that looks like it's dirty even after cleaning. It's as if the coating comes off in areas. Not sure if it is just us.
