New puppy

We are picking up our new puppy next month, obviously we can't visit to see him in the mean time due to covid and I don't want to annoy the breeder but how often do you think I should be in contact with her to check in on him, ask for photos or FaceTime?
What would you consider as reasonable

Anyone?

Is the breeder in regular contact with you? As a prospective owner I would expect the breeder to be providing the updates, via email or text.
TBH I think I would be concerned about a breeder that didn't want to show off their puppies Confused

You want to go to the doghouse, there is lots of information there for prospective puppy owners. Definitely ask for FaceTime and photos. A decent breeder would be more than happy to oblige.

Our breeder is sending pics and videos every few days at the moment and we’ve FaceTimed twice this week... although he’s only just over a week old so it might slow down! I’m expecting an update once a week and maybe a photo or video mid week?

Pic here just because I can’t stop showing him off ❤️🐾

We get a couple of photos and maybe a video every few days. We've only facetimed once before we decided to put a deposit down but I'm not pushing that because I hate video calls. I'd like more to be honest but she's back at work now so I don't want to be a pain.

isittimetogotobed · 16/05/2020 22:50

Thanks everyone. We have been in contact sort of every other day, but I don't want to become a pain, I'm just desperate for videos and photos.
I've not asked to FaceTime as I hate it.she did offer.

Honestly I would just ask!
I said to mine that I didn’t want to pester because I understand how busy they must be (my breeder has a small human baby too!) but that I basically can’t get enough and would love to see pictures and videos whenever she takes any. You could say you don’t want to bother her so would she mind sending a picture every other day so you can see how they are growing.
