How to remove dried tea stain from cream wool carpet??

Which I've just discovered hiding under my teens rug 🙄😭. I've used vanish and it's helped a bit but it's still there help before I kill him and dh tells me I told you so about not letting him eat or drink up there.

I have used a solution of white vinegar and a tiny bit of washing up liquid in warm water, and it worked for me.

I use the multi cleaner Koh for nearly everything and have found it’s been particularly good on carpet stains.
