Is this breaking lockdown (lighthearted)

I’m in Ireland so slightly different rules but I’d probably raise my eyebrows at this regardless!

From my front window I can see a church car park. There is quite a nice view from the car park (rural area, fields, hills, green etc!). A couple have just pulled up, got out a little wooden table and a couple of stools and have sat behind the car (it’s a bit windy but it means they can’t see the view) and are having their sandwiches!

It just seems a bit out of place!

Murderers.

It’s more the sitting behind the car - it would have probably been more comfortable to just stay in the car.

Crumbs though. I don't eat in my car because of the crumbs.

I took some folding chairs with me to meet my mum for a socially distanced (and allowed!) coffee yesterday, before continuing on a walk. My reasoning was this was better than thinking of somewhere with a bench (my mum can't walk far) because the chairs were easier to wipe, and we could also choose somewhere very isolated as we could put the chairs anywhere. I did feel a bit ridiculous putting the chairs out, then ringing my mum so she could get out of her car and come and find me bringing her own coffee Grin but it worked. We drank our coffee and had a chat, she toddled back to her car, and after a suitable interval I packed the chairs away then went for my walk.

Maybe they don't have a garden and wanted some fresh air

I live by the sea and never understand people who drive here, park , eat sandwiches and then drive off again without getting out , like they need to see the sea but don't need to breathe the sea air !
