dentist appointments

if you have a booked appointment have they contacted you to cancel?
dh has one soon and I know all dentists are closed. but am not sure if they contact you to say its not happening.

I got a text to say my appointment was cancelled the day before

I had a phone call off my dentist this morning to say that my appointment at the end of the month has been cancelled. I can call back to reschedule once all this over/when they re-open.
