When I go for my daily walk, I try and work out how many cars you could possibly for into people's driveways....

What about you?

I'm still making Covid-19 scenarios with Playmobil people. I started thinking I'd have a few scenes each day for about a week. 33 days later I'm still at it! Blush

Barbara I love your DVLA story! Grin

I fear I am becoming a twitcher - I get insanely excited at all the wild birds I never noticed before. I saw a jay and 2 owls in the last couple of weeks. The woodpecker I can hear remains elusive.

Cleaning up the fucking kitchen. It's a very time consuming one. That and looking at my Tesco App to manage my shopping.

Trying to get photos of the garden birds - I’ve always fed and watched them but only now do I have the time to crouch in an uncomfortable position in the freezing cold for about thirty hours each day in order to add to my collection of overexposed out of focus photographs of birds

Absolutely nothing. I am far too lazy and don't have the attention span for hobbies at the best of times. I actually irritate myself with my lack of interest in anything. I've always been the same though. Went through so many different hobbies as a child.

I'm trying to learn to make fancy patterns in my morning latte like baristas do.

maxbabi · 14/05/2020 15:11

Kids and I have completely cleared well nearly all the garden. Plsnted seeds and potatoes turning and a raised bed has been built. Grass seeds as it's a dirt pit and I check and water daily. Obsessed totally. And word search game on my phone

Palila · 14/05/2020 15:12

Isn’t it weird though, how the more boring your hobby is (and, by extension, you) the less bored you feel?

Palila · 14/05/2020 15:12

Boring people are never bored!

NuffSaidSam · 14/05/2020 15:16

'Boring people are never bored!'

I always tell my DC the exact opposite, only boring people get bored!

Palila · 14/05/2020 15:18

It’s not true though is it. Think of people who go fishing all weekend or who enjoy talking about long distance running. They’re never bored but could you truthfully describe them as not boring?

Taken up yoga and making curry pastes

00100001 · 14/05/2020 19:16

How do you make curry paste? Add oil to spices?

Embroidery. Can be done while watching telly or on work Zoom calls. The whole house will be embroidered by the end of lockdown Grin
