Abcmouse - anyone used it?

DD(5)is wants to try Abcmouse as she's seen it online. It looks okay as far as being a bit educational instead of just games, obviously not a replacement for me teaching her.

I have two queries though - can you change the language to UK English?

Also, it says there's a free trial but I've read reviews saying it takes money immediately. I know people tend to complain more than praise in online reviews, so I'd appreciate a more balanced view - has anyone had problems with not getting a free trial, or cancelling when they want to?

It is a free trial, I’m in the uk and started it the other day. They didn’t take anything Exocet a penny to prove the card works basically. No option that I’ve seen for uk English but I’m not really bothered most of the teaching seems the same. My kid isn’t stressed like she is with the seesaw app which is awful and ends up with her crying, at least with abc mouse she is enjoying herself and learning. She asks to play it whereas she will avoid doing the work her teacher sends. Anything to get through this really.

I tried it and didn’t like it. We changed to reading eggs which is better. I’m a KS1 teacher if that makes a difference.
