Anyone else watching Sewing Bee and wondering why all baby/toddler waterproofs don't already open at the back?

My girls practically live in outdoor wear, the amount of times they have needed a wee or a nappy change and I've cursed under my breath at having to completely unwrap them half naked to do a wee.

Actually thinking about it, it's probably much more practical for toddler girls, as toddler boys who probably benefit from a front opening more...

Yes, I agree. By the way, I'm not enjoying this series as much but not sure why. Do the contestants seem a bit bleh to you? Too many blokes and no little old grannies perhaps? I still like the format and the fact the producers haven't tweaked it at all. I stopped watching gogglebox when they all realised they could be stars and started playing up to the cameras. Anyway, yes, quick-escape wetsuits (but without the netting cape!).

I agree too, it seems such an obvious idea.
As for the programme itself, I love it. Just wish they wouldn't put such tight time constrictions on them. It's not necessary and makes skilled people try and cut corners.

I agree about the time limits. I’d rather see lots of beautiful pieces finished properly and then the judges choose the best.

I’m still liking this series but it hasn’t grabbed me as much as others.

Argh I missed this. Was it on last night?

As a retired Early Years teacher I don't like all-in-one waterproofs at all. You spend ages with one child getting them into it to play outside and 2 minutes later they want the loo and you have to undress and dress them again. I'd prefer over trousers and a cagoule.

I accept their usefulness for actual babies in nappies.

The one who won garment of the week with her lovely tennis dress is coming across as smug and competitive. I'm sure she's lovely in real life but I sometimes think we are being fed selected comments that are too obvious. Nicole who came first with her rugby shirt should have won the child's onesie as well imo so I wondered if they do know in advance and try and avoid multiple 'firsts'

It's obviously creatively edited to create drama. I wonder if that is why Clare, who is very quiet and exact doesn't get the same coverage at the moment and will come to the fore later.

I fell Asleep at the start of the dresses!

Yes, I thought the same about Claire
