Anybody know their way round PayPal?

My husband bought something off ebay, which did not work so we made a few attempts to contact the seller but got ignored. We opened a PayPal dispute which the seller closed! So we opened another one, this time a request was made for the item to be returned and then a refund would be issued (this came in an email via PayPal) we returned the item and now PayPal have found in the buyers favour, but I can't see any reasons why or what has happened,

PayPal seem to go out of their way to make the site as hard to navigate as possible, but this item was £60, and the seller has 6 other negs this month for similar problems Angry

Can anyone tell me how to navigate round PayPal and get some answers please

You can call them .
Use the contact options in help, it gives you a number.

I've tried to call both ebay and PayPal but ebay just give you a message and close the call, PayPal take you through security as if they'll put you through, but then say there's nobody to take the call, and close it.

They didn't give you a refund?

Did you open a case through EBay ?

Or only on the PayPal site ?

I started with a dispute on ebay, which was apparently 2 days late (I've been on the phone to ebay now) - although they can see my emails trying to contact the seller, we started the dispute 2 days after the 30 day limit - mind yoou, she said that she was going to report him to 'the back office'

The person I spoke to at ebay asked if I'd put my tracking number for the return on Paypal, I've checked with DH and apparently he didn't Sad

They think you haven't returned the item hence no refund. Keep phoning and explain

Keep all records and contact Resolver. They sorted it out after 9 months.

Brilliant thanks, I think I've used Resolver for something before
