That man whose wife was killed then he lost the baby broke my heart.

"Crap Top Trumps" summed up the blokey way of dealing with grief for many. Heartbreaking as you say.

I am having a bit of a cry here.

I feel for his wife that he couldn't let her speak about what she was going through because he was scared to hear it. Being ill like that is lonely and it's harder when you can't talk about it to protect others, when you're expected to be brave and positive all the time.
