Shame because it's an attractive modern chalet style house, externally.

It'll take relatively little work to modernise massive kitchen diner plus the already separate sitting room. Probably need to find space for a few more loos but good square footage.

It’s just really dated. No upward chain so probably a probate sale or owned by someone who’s gone into a care home. It certainly needs a lot of money spent on it.

I like the parquet floor in the dining room.

Does need a lot of money on it. You could have "storage" on the upstairs floor plan as an ensuite, but the big bedrooms do need an ensuite too. That bathroom has bought me straight back to my grandmothers house during my childhood. What a satisfying do-er upper it would make! The dining room did make me laugh- you’re on point with the stately home comment OP!

I love a bit of carpet in the bathroom 😀 we've just moved and have lovely floor tiles but it's not the same

Parquet is beautiful, kitchen doesn't need much work to be livable, the rest is tragic. I can smell the bathroom carpet from here!
