pregnancy appointment during Covid

Hi all, I’m currently 6 weeks pregnant and have received a letter booking a phone call with the midwife on 1st June. What should I expect from this call as I believe normally you’d go in but can’t because of Covid risk!
Any advice appreciated as very new to this

Hi they will just ask you lots of questions related to your health. My midwife gave me advice on what foods I shouldn’t eat and told me about being able to get free prescriptions. My midwife sent my details to the hospital, ready for my scan and I received my hospital appointment two weeks later.

I believe it's just the same as if you would go in there. The only difference is you can't have bloods taken and urine tested.
They ask about family history, partners family history. Ask if there is anyway you could be related (yes, really!) 😬.
Hand details over to hospital for your scan and generally just how you're feeling.

@SpillTheTeaa this time round I saw a midwife at booking who had the worst bedside manner I’d ever seen. When she asked if me and Dh were related, to lighten the mood I said cheerily, “not that I know of!”

That backfired big time. I got told to either take it seriously or leave. Maybe I was daft but the whole thing had been so depressing and negative up to that point (She was a cowbag though).
