I can't find a thread on already but there might be - apologies if so.

Has anyone else heard about this? He's a British diplomat who went missing from his home on 6 May. Must be extremely worrying for his family.

Very odd. He's probably gone abroad somewhere, he'll have contacts all over the place.

I wondered that, but wouldn't there be a record of him going abroad that would have been checked by the authorities?

I thought that perhaps they had finished those checks and now have opened up to the public because they hadn't found anything, given he was last seen on 6th May.
