Super comfy bra/lette recommendations (34B)?

Help! I am tempted to ditch the bra altogether, recently can’t stand the feeling of wearing one. Lockdown allows me to enjoy bralessness, but I am determined to find something comfy to wear when out and about.

Please could I have your personal recommendations for something that you (almost) can’t feel, if you are similar size A/B cup (I am size 34B)? Can be bra/bralette, short vest type thing, ideally seamless. Must be supersoft, light, but disguise your nipples under T-Shirt in cold weather, so light padding ok 😄. Lots of options online, but I just don’t know which one/s to go for 😬

Forgot to say -ideally thin straps so can wear under strappy vests 🙂

a contradiction in terms!!

Sainsburys used to sell a no wire no lace white job, I stocked up at the time. Might be worth a check. These are very rare as we are expected to put up with ugly itchy lace and uncomfortable wires.

embrace the lockdown. :-)

I’ll have a look in Sainsburys 🙂

emcero1, I’ve nearly ordered that one, but I wonder if the lace is scratchy?

I ditched proper bras a while back in favour of these. They are the shiny Lycra type material. Really comfy and hide well under clothes. I’m also a fan of thin straps, light weight etc. and find it really hard to find things like that.

I can’t wear a bra. To uncomfortable and yes you can get saggy boobs from no support but these suckers sag anyway.

I go to Sainsburys. They have lots of lovely sport type bralette things. I only wear bralettes now. And I don’t care.

emcero1 · 12/05/2020 16:19

@AmayaBuzzbee No, not scratchy at all - and I'm one of those people who can't bear the feeling of material touching my skin (hence why I'm a soft bralette rather than a bra kind of gal).

For the price I definitely recommend!

AmayaBuzzbee · 12/05/2020 16:47

@Capezio and @emcero1 -I have ordered both, love the prices! Thank you for the suggestions, so helpful 😊

Since these were cheap, I also ordered the Sloggi Oxygene... something, which is expensive (£45), but I haven’t bought new bras for years, so splashed out. Fingers crossed I will love them all!

www.marksandspencer.com/animal-print-lace-trim-bralet/p/clp60439424?color=BLACKMIX i have huge boobs (they hurt) and this is the most amazing bralette! Comfy, soft, supportive

Sevencats · 12/05/2020 16:53

@BeyOnceBeyTwice does the lace ride up during the day

oldperson1 · 12/05/2020 16:53

Just bought some from Peacocks on line really pleased with them and good price

BeyOnceBeyTwice · 12/05/2020 17:26

@sevencats it does on me but I am 39 weeks pregnant so figured that was why! I don't feel like it would if you didn't have a huge bump as it's tight enough (not bad tight!)

Sevencats · 12/05/2020 17:52

@BeyOnceBeyTwice all the ones I have had lace and they all ride up. I think I may just cut it all off
