Does anyone have an electric bike?
If so, what type?
What informed your choice ?
Ate you glad you got one ?
Thanks in advance.

That looks lovely @Pineapplemonkey, would love that, trouble is I’d have to leave it out on the street all day at work and I reckon it would be vandalised

Coincidentally I noticed this morning that Trek UK currently have a competition to win an e bike on their Facebook page. It looks similar to the one that fallfallfall has. I know that most social media giveaways are rubbish but this was on the official Trek Bicycles UK page so I think its probably genuine. There will probably be huge numbers of entries of course, but I guess somebody has to win, so I thought I'd mention it in case it is of interest to anyone who is looking at that style of bike. There are loads of companies with competitions and special offers on at the moment actually so it is definitely worth shopping around. Plus don't forget the cycle to work scheme. There used to be a £1000 limit but that was lifted last year, partly so that e bikes became more accessible I believe.

Look into a cargo bike, it makes using a bike for every short trip very easy. I have a TERN Gsd and it makes it easy to carry two kids or a whole week's worth of shopping. I use it for my work commute and I love that I can take a laptop or files and gym gear and a big coat in the saddle bags without even thinking about it.
