Have no idea and can only see 8 years which would be too small

Any recommendations?

I don't know, but might help if you said what it's going to be used for - why an electric scooter rather than a normal one or a bike at that age?

I'd have thought at 14 they'd need an adult sized one... which are likely to be selling out as the plan is to legalise their use on roads.

Because that's what he's asked for.
If it was an electric bike would that be a problem? Hmm
He's used a scooter for years and has asked for an upgrade.

How would saying what it will be used for help? Its a scooter, take a guess Confused

Umm OK. I came on to recommend my 16 year old nephew's one which copes well on hills. But I won't bother.

Well thank you Flowers

I never said it was a problem. ConfusedI was assuming that the most appropriate model would depend on what he wanted to do with it, that's all. Distance, type of surface, that sort of thing presumably make a difference to how big a battery, motor power, type of wheels.

Apologies. I've had a rough day.

He just wants it to go to the park on and stuff. Nothing strenuous or up hill.

Is he after an adult one if he is 14?

If so the Xiaomi M365 is popular on the cheap end. It doesn’t do hills and it is single motor but it is a decent first scooter. They sell it in Halfords if you need to check it for size but you can buy it cheaper online.
