Nappies

Hello all,

I have a 5 month old and am finding his nappies leak pretty much every time he has a poop; and often leaks within a couple of hours with just a wee.

We are currently using Aldi nappies which were supposed to be the best aside from Pampers, we have also tried these.

I think the band around the top should be thicker but this doesn't seem the case as you go up in sizes.

Anyone got any suggestions or have found nappies with a thicker band?

Thank you
Lyla

Sainsburys own band have a thick elasticated band on the back, my youngest was chunky of thigh and bottom and the waistband helped to get a better fit.

Is he ready to go up a size? Leaks are usually a sign the nappy no longer fits properly.

Bamboo nappies with a seperate outer wrap were the best for poonami prevention. DS1 had food allergies and I had to wash clothes after every single poo anyway.

Rascle and friends in Tesco are really good and half price at the moment.

Sainsbury's own brand has a thicker band at the top than other brands, before lockdown we only used Sainsbury's nappies and pull up but not been able to get any by the time I go shopping there out of stock. now we changed to Huggies pull-ups because I can buy them on Amazon.

are the nappies to big or small? I found nappies only leak when there too big or small for the child.
