WARNING - PHOTOS! Attention dentists - what is this on DD's gum?

DiddyDragon (11.8 yrs) is complaining that she has a painful lump above her teeth on her gum.

Any dentists/dental nurses/wise oldsages out there that could give us a clue what it is?

It almost looks like another tooth coming through above the existing ones.

Welshcakes there you go, it's quite hard to get dentists to agree to treatment plans as there are always alternatives, but I think it's unanimous it's the second premolar on it's way down.
If she says it hurts it's because it pushes against everything else and that can be achy.

You're all bloody wonderful, thank you!

I shall inform her that we don't have to go to the dentist (although she quite likes going because the chair is fun & you get stickers) and break the news that she's not a shark.

On reflection, she's going to be quite disappointed. Grin Grin Grin
