Migraines during pregnancy

Hi everyone,

I'm now 20 weeks pregnant with my baby boy & I have my 20wk scan coming up on Friday, how exciting! I'm just wanting to talk to other mums who suffered from migraines during their pregnancy as it's starting to worry me and get me down. I have around 2 per week where I can't even look at light - I don't think staring at my laptop everyday now I'm working from home is helping either. However, with all of this Coronavirus happening, my anxiety has been through the roof, I'm sure a lot of people feel the same. Most nights I can't sleep through worry, and now I'm worrying about my migraines. It's frustrating that we can't see our midwives properly, I know I can phone up but I thought I'd try this route too. When I had my 16wk phone appointment, I told her about my anxiety and not being able to sleep and she recommended listening to meditation before bed etc. and reassured me it's normal to be feeling this way.

Sorry for the long post, as a new mum it's hard to know what's normal and what isn't. I'd appreciate any replies :) x

Try 4head and kool n soothe strips for migraines. Pregnancy safe I'm fairly sure as neither contain painkillers.
