Animal or adventure books for. 5 year old girl

I need to send a birthday present but have teenage boys so not a clue!

Depends on reading ability really.

There is an Animal Ark series by 'Lucy Daniels' that my DD used to enjoy. I think it also had am easy-read series of easier books.

Similar themed Zoe's Rescue Zoo series, and also the 'Battersea Dogs & Cats' books.

We had them all. DD was a bit older though, 7-9, some were easier than others. DD was a reluctant reader though.

The Book People used to do cheap box sets but they are gone now...

Holly Webb books.

There is another series which combines animals and adventure, about a boy/girl twin pair that go round rescuing wild animals, but I can't think of the name right now.

The animal ark ones look perfect, thank you.
Have made a note of the Holly Web ones for Christmas!
