Having an excuse to go to the park and play on the swings (pre lockdown anyway)

kazza446 · 10/05/2020 23:21

Is the unconditional love 💕

JustAddCoffee91 · 10/05/2020 23:22

When they go to bed 😂

WhoCaresAnyway95 · 10/05/2020 23:23

When they're in bed and it's quiet 😁

TooGood2BeTrue · 10/05/2020 23:26

As kazza says - the pure love you feel.

Firstimemam · 10/05/2020 23:28

The love you feel for them. Nothing compares. I thought I loved my DH before the baby came but pahahahhaa haha nothing compares.

Illstartexercisingtomorrow · 10/05/2020 23:28

They light up your world and give you a reason to keep going.

Stompythedinosaur · 10/05/2020 23:42

Doing kid's activities - going to the farm, going on a tiny steam train, being a zookeeper for a day. Love it.

Stronger76 · 11/05/2020 06:07

Bedtime!

More specifically, when they're asleep. And when they stay that way.

AlmondsAndChocolate · 11/05/2020 06:31

The love they give me. They adore me, it's amazing!

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 11/05/2020 06:34

When they stumble into bed with you and snuggle up and go back to sleep. Cosiest thing ever.

ScreamingKid · 11/05/2020 08:09

Mine are teens now. The best bits are the unexpected hugs from them (not so frequent these days Sad), listening to their views on things and I have to say it, all the free time we have. I was feeling very sad listening to the neighbours kids having fun in the garden and remembering mine used to be like that. They spend most of their time in their rooms now. But actually I have a new lease of life. We pretty much do what we want now. Still miss day trips, family films and cuddles on the sofa though so make the most of it. Smile

pumpkinpie01 · 11/05/2020 08:13

The cuddles and hilarious comments, my ds6 makes me laugh every day. The days out and adult conversations you have , I have 3 older dc too, and realise yea they have turned out well makes you proud 😀

ElectricTonight · 11/05/2020 09:12

Being loved 🥰

TheChosenTwo · 11/05/2020 09:17

When they get older and you get your life back to yourself for a bit Grin
I did love all the stages, it’s exhausting but so much fun. I’ve got teens now and an 8 year old, he’s a lot more fun right now than the older ones.
I echo a pp, love trips out to the farm, theme parks, puddle stomping walks, cuddles, loads of great stuff.

needsleepz · 11/05/2020 12:19

Mine aren't at school yet so definitely looking forward to a bit more free time when they're older! My boys are very huggy so hopefully I'll still get an occasional hug when they're teens.
