Can I leave my bread to rise in the fridge overnight and cook it in the morning?

Yes, that's what I do, it works really well. Make sure it's well wrapped up in cling film or it will dry out. Take it out of the fridge 30-60 minutes before you want to bake it - gives you time to preheat the oven.

Oh, and maybe grease the cling film so that the dough doesn't stick as its rising.

if you use a lot of yeast your fridge will end up like the magic porridge pot...

Yes, absolutely. But as a PPvsaid, make sure it is wrapped or in an airtight box. Bring up to room temperature before you bake it (it will rise a bit more).

Yes I do it often. Depending on the temperature in your kitchen it might take a while for the dough to come to temperature in the morning though
