What is this thing on my table called?

It’s a tablecloth, but it’s there all the time and has a shiny surface so you can wipe it clean. It’s kind of fabric-y though and hangs down. It’s got a neutral pattern on it.

It’s also filthy and I want a new one but I don’t know what it’s called!? I can’t go and look in shops and I don’t want to order the wrong thing!

Thanks!

PVC table cloth, oil cloth, plastic table cloth. Any of these. They are widely available. We use them because DD is clumsy and often spills food on the table. Obviously I clean it after every meal, but after a while the plastic cloth gets demoted to be used for meassy tasks around the house, and I buy a new one.

You can buy it by the length from The Range if you need an odd size.

Also called wipe clean table cloths.

Oilcloth is thin, supple.

Plastic table cover is thicker, cheaper, comes in pretty patterns.

Dunelm and The Range do a good range, Dunelm carries both, I think.
