Dd is 14 next week and I'm completely unprepared! She's not really interested in clothes or make up, I'd usually have bought bits for her pony but recently lost him so quite stuck for ideas. She could do with a new phone as has a temperamental iPhone 5 but depends if I can find a reasonably priced refurbished one.
Would greatly appreciate suggestions as she's notoriously tricky to buy for as only interested in horses and other animals and has what she needs for those.
Thanks

A subscription for something?

Audible or a magazine or one of those companies that send you chocolate/cheese/socks every month.

Sponsor a pony or other animal for her where you get letters and updates. Pick somewhere fairly local and she could go and see it when lockdown is over!

Cash is always a winner.

Books
Chocolate
Plant for her bedroom
Baking stuff
Craft stuff
Rubik's cube

Is she arty? Art stuff? Nice things for her bedroom - bedding, plants etc; Pandora jewellery? I'm just trying to think of things that my dd had for her 14th birthday. A new phone would probably be best of you can find one. You could then get her a nice new case for it.

Thank you both some good ideas. The rubics cube did make me laugh as ds loves that sort of thing where dd and I hate them with a passion, we've no patience!
I picked up some pj's in Tesco and a llama beach towel whilst shopping and have some air plants on order and a magazine subscription. Will try grab some chocolates and maybe smellies during week. Still working on a phone but🤞
