Find me a comfy strapless bra!

I feel like I've spent a fortune in strapless bras but can't find a comfy one! I'm 36d so pretty common size. I used to have ones with clear straps but they don't seem as common now?

Wonderbra, not sure what model sorry. I got one to wear under my weddingdress and have worn it loads more since. It is very sturdy, has silicone around the sides of back strap and a plastic handlike(?) enforcements in the cups. Sounds like a torture device and looks a bit like it too Grin but it fits me so well it is like thick and supportive 2nd skin when on.

I bought one of them after reading (prob on here) that they were comfy but not for me Sad

Sad to say I don't think such a thing exists. Not in anything above a C cup anyway. I've got the Wonderbra one, it looks great, but I wouldn't describe it as comfortable.

I can't stand seeing bra straps with a strapless top!

The only strapless bra I've ever got on with is the wonderbra one with hands. Wouldn't call it comfy, but I certainly felt 'secure'.

Can you buy the clear plastic straps you liked previously on eBay and hook them into an existing multi-way bra instead of its regular cream or black etc straps if you need more support?

Are you sure you're a 36d?(Not being rude)

Have you measured using the Boob or bust method?
I had the same problem finding a strapless bra until I used their method.
I was wearing a 32d - measured using their method and was actually a 28f - from there was fine finding a strapless bra - ended up with the wonderbra moulded hands one (I think)

Really just doesn't exist - wonderbra is good but by no means comfy

NCTDN · 10/05/2020 14:16

Butterfly, yes I did the mn measuring - vary between 34 and 36 d / DD. I longingly remember the days I could go bra less when wearing a strappy top
Even dd16 though wears bras with straps with an off the shoulder top and she's only 30a!
