Big store memories

I had a crazy dream last night and it has been driving me nuts all day. When we were kids, weekends were for family shops and we got dragged around everywhere. Does anyone remember a big department store or supermarket in the early 00s that had a listening station with headphones playing a selection of the latest CDs they had for sale?

In my dream it was ASDA but i think it might have been The Big W.

Also, can anyone remember HMV doing something similar but giving away free mp3 players with 5 preloaded songs?

While I'm at it, did supermarkets have game stations with a working PlayStation or similar or was that just toys r us?

Woolworths did that.

Everywhere did! Sainsbury's, Tesco, record shops of course like HMV, Virgin. I remember Top Shop doing it too like Sophie says, maybe also Dorothy Perkins? Not sure about that.
