Anyone thinking of leaving London to live somewhere else after this is all over?

And if so, where would you go?

I've lived in London all my life and have been itching for a different lifestyle for a while now but the lockdown has confirmed it for me. I'm loving the cleaner air and quieter streets and want that permanently. Yes I would miss the buzz of London and its amazing culture but I can always visit, I'd just like a greener, quieter, slower pace right now. Anyone else?

Definitely! Scotland for sure. We could get a small mortgage and have a bit more room. Just cba with the treadmill of life in the SE any more.

Just bear in mind that many types of jobs pay a lot less outside of London, and the rent reduction very often doesn't cancel out the drop in salary. I've seen it happen to numerous people.

I'd love to move to the country side or near the sea. I'm jealous of seeing pictures of people on their daily walks in a scenery of miles of greenery , woods, lakes, closer to nature. Also London scares me I think my children would have happier and safer lives further out.
