Rock bun help needed ASAP please?

I’ve just made a batch and they’ve cooled now. Tried one and it’s doughy in the middle. I’m on the farthest limits of my baking skills here. If they’re now cool can I put them back in the oven again to try cook the middles a bit more or is this a crime against baking and will ruin them? Thank you .

Try it but don't be tempted to put on any higher than it was originally.

Could you just cut them up into chunks (the outside cooked parts) and take out the doughy middle? Have them with fruit or ice cream or something?

I gave them another 6 mins in the oven in the end and it sorted out the doughy middles . I wanted them whole as they’re for a friends birthday tomorrow. I’m going to drop them off as she’s a rock bun fan .
