I've just had a Burger King

The local KFC opened up as a drive thru and there was a queue 70+ cars long!

I'm looking forward to one when things calm down a bit.

I had KFC the other day (local one re-opened for delivery) and it was brilliant. Limited menu (although that at least helped me decide what to eat!) so I had a variety thing, didn’t bother with chips as they were out of gravy.

I had a Whopper. It was lovely. I am not keen on Burger King chips, so didn't have a meal, just a burger. And because I was eating it at home I put a couple of slices of mature cheddar in there, because that makes it even more delicious.

I love the burger/mayo/onion/tomato/cheese combination - but it never tastes right when I try to make it at home. I don't quite understand why.

Jealous. We don't have a Burger King near us we'd have to go into the city and neither of the 2 BK's there are drive-thru's. There's a KFC and a McDonalds a bit closer but neither of them is worth queueing for!

😭 we’re far north and I’m sure we’ll be the last to have anything open!

We tried to get a KFC the other day but the queue was around 1-2 hours, about 30+ cars waiting along the road and the drive thru was full. Will try again another time!

It's a shame as we live slightly too far out (by like 1-2 miles) for deliveries!

I live in the north east. Do you know where the closest McDonald’s is to us that is opening for their limited reopen? Luton.

I've never had a Burger King but it was our anniversary yesterday and our favourite Indian takeaway reopened. Ohhhhhh it was marvellous.

Merton BK is open. That's driveable!

How long was the wait?

Are they open 24 hrs drive through do we know?

They r opening THREE Macdonalds in Luton. Not near me either. I would kill for a cup of their coffee.

They delivered. So I didn't have to queue at all.

But as soon as they open I'm going to be like Harry Potter at the sweet trolley.

Our local chippy reopened the other day so DH went and bought some then we went for a quick drive.
They cook in fish oil so DS can't eat anything from there.
To say it was the best, illicit, cod, chips and can of cola I've ever had whilst sitting in the car round the corner would be an understatement
I even said to DH what will we do if the Police appear and he said he would offer him a chip then happily pay a fine.
The kids are still none the wiser 😂

I was quite gutted about the gravy. No point in chips without it! Garlic mayo for the chicken though :o

I’d had a favourite chicken delivery a few weeks earlier as I missed KFC but it was Not The Same.
