I did have a banana, two pieces of cake, 2 packets of crisps, 2 ice creams, and a packet of mortadella

Nutritious!

I really can’t be arsed

I wish some of the friends posting their lovely dinners would make me something

I had a bowl of original cool Doritos for lunch.

ellanwood · 08/05/2020 12:31

A friend of mine on FB said, she never thought she ate out much but she's SO sick of her own cooking. I feel the same.

GrandmaNotYetPlease · 08/05/2020 12:31

Grin @ your username!

I love cooking! Whereabouts are you roughly? Anywhere near London?

VettiyaIruken · 08/05/2020 12:32

By the time this is over, I'm going to need to have my floors re-enforced.

GiveMeAllTheGin8 · 08/05/2020 12:32

I had a penguin and a packet of hunky dorys for lunch Blush

homeschoolmyarse · 08/05/2020 12:35

Oh I’m so glad I’m not alone
Not London grandma☹️
I don’t know what hunky dory’s are, but sounds like my kinda thing
I might push the boat out and make a sandwich today

My mum gives me her shopping list every week and it’s making me feel so bad. It’s all healthy, tasty stuff

@ThatsWhatHeroesDo I'm super impressed with the effort of putting them in a bowl to be fair!

T0tallyFuckedUpFamily · 08/05/2020 12:41

The only reason I eat cooked food, is because I have to feed my youngest. I’m currently having a large Bournville chocolate bar. I open it to have INE piece. Not happening. Blush

Dogman2020 · 08/05/2020 12:59

I had 2 orange clubs and a cuppa, some bruschetta and sweet chilli hummus for lunch and a toasted bagel for tea.

were slowly eating through the freezer food, and ive run out of proper stuff to go with anything. even if I had the inclination I just cannot be bothered to cook. im sick of being in the kitchen.

Sexnotgender · 08/05/2020 13:01

Me too. I cried the other day because I just want a nice meal that isn’t made by me.
DH suggested a takeaway but I want NICE food. Not greasy expensive takeaway.

I know I’m being unreasonable but I want nice food (like The Kitchin in Edinburgh nice) brought to me and to drink lovely wine and not to have to cook 45 times a day.

pairofchairs · 08/05/2020 13:03

I've had half a pancake, a bag of crisps, a white Magnum and a beer.

dudsville · 08/05/2020 13:03

Wanderlust21 · 08/05/2020 13:07

I made lemon muffins the night before... and ate three for breakfast.

Then I made fried bread (just yogurt and flour to make a dough and then fry) with bacon.

2 packs of crisps too. And a pack of pasta stuff.

Mmmm grease and sugar.

Northernsoullover · 08/05/2020 13:08

I remembered I hadn't eaten anything decent at 10pm last night. I did have some jaffa cakes and liquorice allsorts in the day. I just can't be bothered. I'm sick of cooking and doing dishes.

Potentialmadcatlady · 08/05/2020 13:10

My neighbour made me a pie and left it sitting at my front door still piping hot... best thing I have tasted in weeks and I don’t even like pie .. it was just because I hadn’t made it

ineedaholidaynow · 08/05/2020 13:12

Some of our local restaurants are doing takeaways so might not be as greasy as your average takeaway, is that an option?

ThatsWhatHeroesDo · 08/05/2020 13:12

Where do you live @sexnotgender ? There are a few nicer restaurants round here (Essex) doing limited takeaway menus. Not quite as nice as Kitchin but not bad.

midnightstar66 · 08/05/2020 13:13

So far today I've had a banana and the crumbs from the bottom of a Pringle tub. I fancy crackers but I can't even be bothered to slice the cheese. Last night I cooked as I have dc that need fed but it took me til 7pm to motivate myself. Only adult in the house so I'm absolutely sick of cooking. Thankfully dc are good at making a wrap with salad and veggies for lunch.

Sexnotgender · 08/05/2020 13:16

@ThatsWhatHeroesDo I’m in Scotland unfortunately. There aren’t any restaurants near me that I’d be desperate to get food from. The one that I LOVE nearby is totally closed right now.

Parker231 · 08/05/2020 13:17

Lunch today = Mars ice cream

okiedokieme · 08/05/2020 13:18

I'm fed up with cooking too. We are having take away later. I'm particularly fed up with sandwiches, I don't normally eat them but stuck at home there's no sneaky places to go for cheap lunches

ittooshallpass · 08/05/2020 13:19

It's like an episode of Ready, Steady Cook in this house. Never quite too sure what you're going to get with what. Ironically DD said we've had some of the best meals ever! Grin

Fifipop185 · 08/05/2020 13:19

Lunch today, two bags of cheese and onion crisps a can of full fat coke and one strawberry. I'm beyond caring now Grin

Sallycinnamum · 08/05/2020 13:23

My DH is normally out three nights a week so I have a bowl of cereal because I cant be arsed to cook. The plus side of this it keeps my weight down.

Now we're eating a proper meal each night and although time enjoying it because let's face it food is the only joyous thing at the moment the weight is piling on!
