Anybody remember the playground game "there came a duke a riding"e

Was talking with some work colleagues and they don't remember it. It s one of my favourites and invol ed two teams lined up chanting verses challenging each other, I think the first one went "there came a duke a riding" three times followed by a nonsense line, just wondering if anyone else remembers this game

What you riding here for, here for, here for
etc
I'm riding here to marry, marry marry etc
Who you going to marry, Marry Marry etc
I'm going to marry (name)
.....the memory is vague here but something about chasing round the chimney pots!

I remember this. Dont remember any chimney pots tho.

We sang
There came three dukes a riding, riding, riding,
There came three dukes a riding,
Hie, tie, tiddly hie!
What you riding here for, here for, here for......etc
We're riding here to marry.....etc
Who you going to marry......etc
Going to marry blue shoes ( or black socks, or anything one of the girls was wearing!)
Who the heck is black socks....etc
Her first name is Susan ( or whatever!)
It went on and on, and ended with us all dancing round!

I remember this, and a yes to the chimney pots!
