Which oils do you recommend for a diffuser?

I have a diffuser spray thing in my lounge, we previously had it in our child's bedroom with a lavender mist which was nice for before bedtime. However, I'd like something light and pretty smelling for the lounge. Any recommendations?

I love grapefruit, it's really uplifting! Lemongrass is lovely too and Rosemary is nice.

You can also get blends, for different moods, which might be worth checking out.

Orange and lemongrass are a really fresh combination.
Peppermint is a nice scent too.

Second the orange and lemon grass mixed together. That's currently humming away in mine this morning.

I also live a drop of peppermint on occasion.

Lavender can be really heavy so only a small drop of that one

I use the ‘pure’ ones from amazon based on famous perfume brands although they are quite strong if that’s not your sort of thing

hermionegrange · 07/05/2020 20:15

@H1978 that sounds like exactly my sort of thing Grin I can't find them when I search, would you mind linking one, please?
Thanks

Ylang ylang is nice. I ordered a mixed selection by Anjou from amazon, it has quite a few different oils to try including peppermint, lemongrass, sweet orange, cinnamon, eucalyptus, tea tree and I can't remember the rest!

Make sure they are water soluble!

Citronella, lemongrass, lavender are lovely.

I have a neon diffuser, use the sleep scent at night

Ooh what is an oil diffuser? Is that what I want? I was looking at electric wax melters.....
