Best and worst crisp flavours

It's a heavy thread topic, obviously...

Best : Ham and pickle Brannigans

I really hope those fucking incredible delicious Worcestershire sauce Twiglets make a come back.

Worst : Sour cream and chive. Bleurgh, it tastes how I imagine a crumbly chemical infection would.

Best- the walkers max jalapeno and cheese.
Worst- sour cream and onion pringels

HavartitoMeetYou · 07/05/2020 11:32

All crisps are good crisps!

(Not counting those mad novelty flavours ie M&S pink gin and satsuma or whatever.)

Best cheese & onion

Worst prawn cocktail

BrandyandBabycham · 07/05/2020 11:36

Can’t remember what they’re called but they come in various flavours - can’t stand the rib & sauce one!

goose1964 · 07/05/2020 11:37

Best are roast chicken or smoky bacon, the worst are Walker's restaurant katzu curry. Totally bland, even worse than ready salted

Nik Naks!

Mmm scampi and lemon

MrsMartinRohde · 07/05/2020 11:40

Best: Marmite and Wonrcester sauce Walkers (special mention to the much missed Bovril crisps, might have been by Smith's)

Worst: when Walkers did the first Do us a flavour competition years ago and were all horrible. Cajun squirrel, duck & hoisin, chilli & chocolate, fish & chips,. builders breakfast. bleughghg

Worst of the standard flavours: not a fan of salt and vinegar

extra special mention to the non crisp joy that is Branston Pickle mini cheddars.

Pastaforall · 07/05/2020 11:41

Best- salted fancy ones- Tesco’s finest crinkle cut
Worst- scampi nik naks

I love the chicken and stuffing flavour that come out at Xmas.

BrandyandBabycham · 07/05/2020 11:42

BarbeDeMaman · 07/05/2020 12:30

Best: ready salted (closely followed by Aldi's lime and sea salt tortilla crisps)

Worst: sour cream and onion 🤢

The4ks · 07/05/2020 12:39

Best are golden wonder smoky bacon, far superior to walkers.
Worst are beef or chicken flavours.

Onesmallstepforaman · 07/05/2020 12:54

Tayto cheese and onion, followed by Seabrooks c&o😊

Ready salted😟

LifeIsBrutal · 07/05/2020 12:54

Recently Doritos released a Mountain Dew and I was dumb enough to try them. That was the worst flavour I've tried.

EstherLittle · 07/05/2020 13:06

Best is salt and vinegar
Worst is cheese and onion. The breath on someone who’s snaffled a bag of cheese and onion is gross.

Nikhedonia · 07/05/2020 13:11

Lime crisps?

OP posts:
curdsandwhey · 07/05/2020 13:33

(Not counting those mad novelty flavours ie M&S pink gin and satsuma or whatever.)

Don't go giving them ideas please!

curdsandwhey · 07/05/2020 13:34

McCoys make paprika crisps which I really like, but not all shops have them.

HoyaFlower · 07/05/2020 13:34

Best - Walkers ready salted
Worst - cheese and onion

FuzzyPuffling · 07/05/2020 13:35

Best - plain (ready salted)
Worst - everything else.

fairydustandpixies · 07/05/2020 13:55

Any crisp in the world (apart from salt and vinegar, they are the work of the devil...)

Nikhedonia · 07/05/2020 14:53

  • Best - plain (ready salted) *Worst - everything else.
