A new low.

I definitely don't have high standard by any stretch of the imagination, however today I've reached a new low, even for me.
After an exhausting day I really could not be arsed with the monotony of actually feeding my children. The offering today was nachos. No hand made, artisan salsa oh no! They had aldi tortillas and salsa, guac and sour cream from jars, hell even the cheese was pre grated from a bag!
Please tell me I'm not alone in my fucking awful standards! My children had glorified crisps for dinner and I'm (bizarrely) OK with this 🤦🏼‍♀️

My brother lived on nanchos for about ten years. Didn't do him any harm apart from the limp.

Dd made herself a tuna salad, Ds made ham salad rolls and had a side of a tub of brownies, i had a cheese roll and best partvof a bottle of wine. Meh. Tomorrow is another day

The corners don’t half stick in the soles of your feet

My DD had egg mayo (from a tub) on one slice of toast and hummus on another. With a raw carrot on the side to alleviate any guilt. She had it yesterday as I was out of ideas and asked for the same again today. 💡

Picky tea is a favourite in my house every time.

May I suggest Freezer Hodge Podge as an alternative?

Its where you get all the half bags and boxes out of the freezer and cook them. Nuggets, fish fingers, burgers, sausage rolls, waffles, over chips, hash browns, all that shite you buy as a quick dinner and only use half of then stuff in the back of the freezer and promptly forget about.

Then serve it up on a big platter on floor with as many bottles of sauce as you own. They love it!

One of mine had eggy bread and the other had a ready meal lasagna with a slice of bread. I just could not be arsed with the moaning about something not being their favourite so I went for quick and easy.

Nachos are amazing. We don’t have them enough!
