How would you do a baby shower on zoom?

My best friend lives in another country and is due to give birth to her first child in August. She won't be able to come back to the UK while she's pregnant so I'd like to throw her a baby shower with our friends on zoom but I'm a bit stuck for ideas to make it a baby shower, rather than just a zoom group chat.

I should say, I'm not ordinarily a baby shower kind of person but like the idea of doing something for her as she's far away and none of our friends or any of her family will have seen her in person while she's been pregnant.

Games that you email or WhatsApp out instructions in advance. Just search “baby shower games”. People show her the gifts they are going to buy/she shows online photos of what people have ordered. Depending on what country she is in you could arrange a cake delivery/afternoon tea.

I've just finished doing one for my best friend and it went great.
We started it off by having everyone take turns saying how they knew mum to be, and tell a favourite story, they would then nominate someone else to go next, this took up a good 45 minutes and there was about 20 people in the zoom meeting and it was really lovely and plenty of laughs.
We created a couple of games using PowerPoint slideshows, and used the screen sharing function so everyone could view the images.
The first game was "Beer Belly or Baby Bump" where we showed a close up picture of a stomach, everyone took guesses and then the next picture was the zoomed out picture, was a lot of laughs.
Before the shower we asked everyone to send their own baby photos to us, and we created a slideshow of those and we went though and revealed who everyone was.
We also had a period of time where presents that had been posted to the mum were opened on camera.
We also made little party favours that we are posting out now to say thank you for joining in on the day.
