Awake...again...naturally..

Just as above.
Woke up at 2:30am to hear DH leaving for work (poor old bugger) and just as I heard the car disappear the police helicopter decided to hover over our area.
On top of this my joint and muscle pains in my legs are bad tonight with a dose of indigestion to finish it off.

I have tried thinking about something that soothes me and is a process ( in my case I go back to being a teenager and I am grooming my pony - I never get past the whithers before I am asleep usually) but that's not worked.

So I got up..took some codeine, brufen and an extra omeperazole and made some toast.

It's 5:25am and I am considering getting up, sorting stuff out and getting down to the allotment. But I think I will give my pain meds time to work. I don't want to go back to sleep and then wake up at lunch time as it will be a wasted day and DH will be home soon afterwards.

Bloody insomnia
Bloody getting old
Bloody arthritis
Bloody menopause
Bloody police helicopter

Oh bless you ..it is so unfair isn't it? I have nights like you have had and have done for ages now.It is so not fun and I honestly cannot remember now it been so long when it was I last slept and woke up feeling refreshed.Sadly the battle continues. I hope you have an enjoyable day when you get moving.Don;t go back to bed ..you will feel worse and more sluggish and rubbish when you wake up!

I last remember seeing 5:15am and I have just woken at 9:30am. Ah well at least it's not midday.
Going to tidy up and then get some fresh air.
I am highish risk due to med conditions but DH and I have decided walking the five minutes to and spending a few hours very socially distancing on my allotment helps with my mental health. So it's worth it.

Hope I will wear myself out for tonight.
