Is anyone else's emails not working ??

I don't know if it's an outlook issue or just me.

My hotmail account was full - I'm talking 30,000 + emails and I kept getting messages saying it's too full to send or receive emails.

I deleted most emails leaving around 400. Now I can't send OR receive a single email, not even junk mail ! I deleted the account off my iPhone and now my phone isn't recognising it as a verifiable account when I try to re-add it .

What is going on!!!! Can someone tech savvy please help, there's important stuff on there that I really need to access

Ok; so I changed the settings from
Pop to IMAP on my iPhone and it's now added the account on to my iPhone.

But still not showing any emails since Sunday and I can't send any emails either still.

IMAP is for incoming mail, so shouldn't affect sending. Check the SMTP settings for the new account, if these are wrong, no mail will send.

May sound random too, but for incoming, check your Junk folder, when I reset up my mail client on my iPhone, it decided to throw all my mail in there.

@PhilCornwall1 how do I check the smpt settings??

I've checked the junk folder , there's nothing in there.

It's not acrually a new account, it's an account I've had for years .

It's not sending mail from iPhone or from
A laptop.

Pretty sure it's under passwords and accounts.

What you could try is setting up the mail account again from scratch on the phone and putting in the server settings manually. If you google hotmail imap and smtp settings it should be easy to find them.

My emails stopped working (btinternet) and it turns out I've been hacked. I've changed passwords but cannot get my email to work in my laptop. So annoying.

Hi @PhilCornwall1 I fixed the issue by emptying my bin of all the emails I had got rid off - it took hours but working absolutely spot on now! Thanks for your replies
