Dp needs a brain scan

He has had a lot of little problems the last year.
A sore ankle,a sore hip a sore shoulder.(all on the same side)
Now in the last few weeks he is constantly dizzy and has slurred speech which is getting worse.
He had a go appointment and has been referred on a 2 week appointment thing for a brain scan.
This is bad isn't it?
