Has anyone had a refund from Bravissimo recently?

Returned a bra several weeks ago, all I get is an auto response, and no indication it has been received. I know they are working from home so am imagining heaps of parcels building up in their returns centre but I really need my money back.

I see they are managing to send orders out though.

I sent my returns back on 16th April and haven't heard anything yet.

WhenItIsOver · 05/05/2020 17:59

Wonder how many others they are holding on to.

They are still taking orders and posting them, but keeping our money, and yes I know times are hard, that is why I sent it back, because I need the money.

When did you send yours back? Have you got proof of postage? It says on the website deliveries and returns are taking longer but hopefully they'll get to it soon.

They're active on Instagram, you could message them there.

WhenItIsOver · 05/05/2020 20:43

Yes, I have the PoP, it was a few weeks ago now.

I don't use Instagram but thank you for the suggestion. I thought about FB but if no-one is answering e.mails I doubt they would reply on there.

I can see that a lot of their reduced stock has gone from the site so they must be doing OK with sales. I am grateful that it wasn't my previous order as that was a large one, and refunded just in time, this was an additional, smaller one but still want the money back.

Will see what happens. Hope you get yours soon.

I’ve been waiting four weeks and still no refund. I’m going to do a claim back via PayPal (if it will let me).

fiddlysticks · 05/05/2020 21:04

Yes mine took just over 3 weeks.

WhenItIsOver · 05/05/2020 23:05

@Mightymurphy, I looked at PayPal earlier but couldn't see an option, could you let me know how you get on with it please?

I know things are difficult now but this doesn't inspire me with confidence. I was ripped off in the House of Fraser fiasco so not going to wait on this one in case it goes the same way.

I understand what you mean, they did answer a query of mine on instagram last week though, it was a message I sent reply to one of their insta stories, I had quite a prompt reply. And their replying below their posts too.

ClarkGriswoldsChristmastree19 · 06/05/2020 02:51

*they’re

Good luck, hope it gets sorted!

Mightymurphy · 06/05/2020 08:00

whenitsover I messaged them over Facebook last night and got an almost instant response. Just saying there is a backlog and they are working through everything.

wowfudge · 06/05/2020 08:08

If they are anything like a place I've returned a couple of sports bras to, they may be accepting mail infrequently and quarantining parcels for x number of days before opening them.

alwaysthinkingofsleep · 06/05/2020 08:15

I returned something beginning of April, following tracking on 23rd it still seemed to be with Royal Mail so I emailed & got a refund the next day.

Knowwhentorun · 06/05/2020 09:04

They are shipping orders but very slowly, my last order took over 2 weeks. I was only annoyed really because all this time they were still spamming my inbox with emails advertising new stock and with delivery times of 10 days which I thought was a bit naughty.

I’d hate for them to go under as I buy pretty much all my bras from them so I’m trying to be patient.

I actually replied to an auto response e-mail and received an answer fairly quickly op so that may be worth a go.

MarshmallowsOnToast · 06/05/2020 10:35

Sent £200 worth back & it was delivered to them on 18th April, still not heard a thing Sad

They said on twitter though refunds were taking about 3 weeks.

It has been several weeks, not a case of quarantining for a few days.

I will try replying to the auto response e.mail.

This doesn't encourage me to use them again (even if I had the money) and I am also being spammed with e.mails trying to get me to buy. Once I get my refund I will be blocking them, those e.mails are a pain anyway.

Ooh just had an email today to say I've been refunded! That was weird. 👍🏻

Patch23042 · 06/05/2020 16:44

I’ve been having similar problems with FatFace and Debenhams. My dad, with Currys

I understand that warehouses are short staffed (rightly so) but why emails and tweets are being ignored when staff are sitting at home perfectly capable of answering them, I don’t know.

My income has not dropped due to covid and so I am able/willing to support businesses, but my experiences haven’t inspired confidence.

Peonyinbloom · 06/05/2020 18:04

I ordered some new bras on 24th April and they are still awaiting dispatch. Haven't even been sent yet.
I have rung them twice though, the first time to order and the second to query that it had definitely gone through as so slow. The girl said it is just because they haven't as much staff in the warehouse....
I do undrestand. But I really want my bras!Grin

I am also not inspired with confidence. Apart from the failure to check and refund a small amount by many standards, I had to fight to get my last refund which was a considerable amount because the incompetent that was dealing with it hadn't bothered to look at the order no. and told me I had already been refunded. I had, but for the order before that one. This was before working from home happened.

I am losing faith in Bravissimo. Marshmallow, maybe they saw this thread and thought it was you Grin.

I ordered on 24th ish and got a dispatch notice today, hurrah!

It did take longer than expected but I love Bravissimo and will be gutted if they dont make it through this; I spend about 50:50 between the shop and the website.

WhenItIsOver · 07/05/2020 15:32

I tried replying to the auto response, nothing so far.

TerrorWig · 07/05/2020 16:57

I suspect they’re holding the items in quarantine before putting them back into inventory and processing refunds.

lonelySam · 07/05/2020 17:12

My order hasn't been dispatched yet so I am patiently waiting. I love Bravissimo and Pepperberry though and I want them to survive.

But how long for? It has been several weeks.
