What's going on with jigsaws on ebay?

I keep getting outbid on jigsaws - what I think are nice ones; I prefer photographs of scenes, we had a nice one of Whitby harbour, and I like them to be 1000 pieces, and Ravensburger is a good make...but still!

In the last day or so I have bid and been outbid, seeing prices go up to £10-12 plus £3-4 postage! This is for a secondhand jigsaw - the last three I have bought have had a piece missing actually (but I paid a couple of quid in charity shop or eBay).

Is everyone so bored cos of CV?

Prices are up to £40 on Amazon, so I guess so! Puzzles are keeping my mum sane atm.

Now's the time to sell your old ones then!

Don't you know anyone who could do a swap (socially distanced of course)? I noticed the prices had rocketed on Amazon a few weeks ago. I refused to pay their prices. DH did manage to buy a couple through an independent store by post although it was still £28 for 2 - but better than Amazon prices. He has also swapped ours with someone he knows through work so we've had different ones that way.

A swap - that's a point. If you have a local FB group you could ask on there.
