Morning, we had a 're-assurance' 6.5 week private scan and measured at small 3mm (closer to 5 weeks apparently) but we could clearly see a heartbeat. We booked a second 8 week scan yesterday at a separate clinic and sadly measured at just 3.2mm and no heartbeat was visible. A second empty yolk sack was also noted this time, which was not picked up before. We are slowly processing the sad outcome of yesterdays scan and due back for confirmation of a possible mmc in two weeks. But I wondered if anyone out here had a similar story and particular any information or advice on the second empty yolk sack. Any advice is really welcome at this time. Thanks.
