Can anyone recommend a good online sewing tutorial for beginners?

I’ve decided I need to keep myself busy and I really would like to learn to sew. Normally there’s a good beginners class I could go to nearby but that’s obviously all on hold for now.

Does anyone have any online tutorials they would recommend?

I found this while browsing https://www.sewessential.co.uk/blog/great-british-sewing-bee-patterns-shopping-lists/

If you browse YouTube there are tons of beginner sewing tutorials.

Ooh, me too. See my comments in the Sewing Bee thread - I want to learn but I still have quite convince myself that it's worth the investment in a sewing machine. Learning to crochet was cheap, but I've got enough blankets to last a while, so I want a new creative thing. My plan had been to try quilting, but paper piecing so I could do it by hand. Need to try and find some of the magazines I'd been browsing in Smith's and now regretting not buying.

Watching with interest!

Jumping on too. I got a machine for my birthday last year, have it up and running but don’t know where to start!
