Our family of five are looking to move to Lichfield from Walsall at the end of July if things have settled down with lockdown etc. Just looking for some advice on best areas to live/best schools. I really like the look of The Friary for DD1, she is currently at a catholic school with zero performing arts provision but really enjoys drama and as she is being assessed for Aspergers I'd really like her to be at a creative focused school as I think it would really help her confidence, this will be her third high school since last September so I really, really want it to work this time. Do you think there would be a spot for a year 8 child?
Also are the primary schools heavily oversubscribed? They all look pretty good but I'm worried we'll move and there won't be a local school for my younger DC's as we don't currently drive.
We have been to Lichfield and love it but obviously it is different to living there so any advice would be great!
