How long has that one thing maybe more than one been sitting on the stairs, just waiting to be taken up for?

I have a bubble bath, it was delivered on Thursday morning and I keep forgetting to actually pick in up and place in bathroom where it belongs.

I’ve got Christmas presents sitting in the hall that I haven’t posted yet...

Lordfrontpaw That certainly beats my bubble bath. Perhaps you can save it as a gift for this year instead Grin

I've got a pile of clean winter clothes on mine waiting to be put away. They have been there since the beginning of lockdown Blush

I've got one slipper on the top stair, I'm not sure why I haven't moved it but it's been there a long time!

I only remembered the other day that the laundry hamper originally lived upstairs but it's been down here so long now that I'd feel almost guilty moving it. In my head, it acts as a sort of welcome buddy for all the other items in the pile of miscellaneous shite which gets dropped there and isn't moved until needed again. Blush

I’ve had a box that had bamboo socks in it on the stairs since December. I walk past it every day thinking christ I must stick it int he recycling!

In my defence I do have severe ADHD!

A tray of cat food that was delivered two weeks ago. It’s on the floor in the living room near the front door where it was left straight after delivery and I’m not putting it away because I put away everything else belonging to everyone else. Would help if I was physically capable of picking it up but I don’t think it’s my job in life to micromanage the husband.

I had forgotten to make DC bottle for the night, went downstairs, made a mental note to actually move the bubble bath, made the bottle, came back up and then remembered about the bubble bath.

I have my son's school notebooks that have been there since last June when he finished his GCSEs.

Lightofthephoenix · 04/05/2020 13:05

@Pipandmum I think you could bin them now.

I have a bag of ironing waiting to be done. I think that will be there far longer than any of your items Wink
