Baking bread....worth it?

Haven't baked bread since I was little. Is home baked bread really that much better than store bought? I can get some fresh yeast near me. Worth it?

Fiscally? No of course not. Taste? Depends what you normally buy and how good you are at making bread.
Most people are doing it because it takes time, and gives them a sense of purpose. It’s basically therapy.
If you are basing your decision on whether it will taste better, no one can help you. Give it a go and find out.
