In bed all day

Has anyone stayed in bed all day, looking at their phone and drinking coffee during the lockdown - even though weather is pleasant outside (then woken up anxious and unable to get back to sleep in the early hours due to the guilt?) Just asking for a friend Wink

Yep me. I'm working in the week and then I feel so low and depressed I haven't moved. The guilt makes it even harder to get up Confused

Yes, I do a lot of work on my phone and somehow getting out of bed doesn’t seem worth it. My daughters are year eleven and thirteen and are struggling to find any motivation, too.

I've been in bed for the past two days. I found out a close family friend passed away and it hit me really hard.

Very sorry to hear that Orangecake123. You probably need to take time for yourself doing nothing Thanks

@Orangecake123 sorry to hear; my uncle passed away 8 days ago & im finding it tough so sympathise with you.

It's so easy to stay in bed on my non work days when there's nothing to get up for!
I'm getting up later & later! Then I regret it,
But I really am hating this lockdown.

Sorry to those who have lost someone close Thanks
Today is the first day where I've really felt bored shitless. And just shit, to be honest. I'm in bed, wearing my dressing gown, on my phone, kids have been on devices all day. I feel an awful mix of guilt and slothfulness.

Thank you.

I'm sorry for your loss too Terralee.

One week later I feel pretty much the same. I've always had issues with clinical depression and this has triggered me again.

It's also okay to just not do anything.I think we've ust been conditioned to think we have to be busy.
