Hello.

Does anyone have any idea of mouse traps that are safe with young children please?

Links to buy would be great.

Thank you in advance

We got some electronic "zapper" ones from Amazon. They just look like a little black box, you put a bit of bait in, and when a mouse goes in they electrocute it instantly and a red light goes on so you know you caught one. Humane and child proof.

Big cheese traps in a box.

Put the trap in a plastic box with holes cut in either side. Put the holes in the sides but near to the wall as mice will run along a skirting board.
We had to do that when we had mice running down an open area. No place for the trap to go that the cat wouldn't end up getting her paw snapped in a trap. Useless bugger she is......

Thanks everyone

What did you all do when you had mice?
As in, With the children playing?
Do you put anything on the floor / carpets etc?

Theres no sign of mouse poo / urine.
But weve seen the mouse.

Nothing much more than more regular cleaning. Running a disinfectant mop over the floors and wiping down surfaces. Mice wee while the walk so everywhere they go they leave urine but a clean cloth takes away any danger.
